Texas Eats: Fork & Fire

Updated: Sep 3, 2019

Happy Monday Friends! :)

Since the move from California to Texas, I made it a goal to try out all the new spots Texas offers and share my journey with you all. My first spot choice is in Plano Texas and its at the Board Walk at Granite Park. Fork & Fire (Previously named B.Frank & Relish) classic American grill.

The first thing that stood out to me was the decor. I'm all about finding that cute spot, typically blogger ha! But this spot sure had a great atmosphere. . The decor is absolutely beautiful with its hanging white doors from the ceiling. . I went in with my husband and Nadia and it was STROLLER friendly. This alone is great for families, as they made sure we had a table that would be comfortable for us.

"I'm Probably a bit romantic about it, but I think we humans miss having contact with FIRE." Jamie Oliver

The owner and chef Jason was very friendly, knowledgable and very passionate about the business. He welcomed us, explained the menu and recommended some choices for drinks and appetizers. We had the pastrami egg rolls that were beyond delicious! Seriously, they are a must have! Promise you wont regret it. The Fork & Fire wings were extra saucy, just the way we like it. It will get messy but trust, the flavor is YUMMY. We came in few more times after the first visit and tired other options, like the grilled salmon..so good!! We took friends and family and they all had a great experience.

They have a seating area outside, and a bar section inside. TV's are a plus in Elias's book haha because that means, I get to enjoy a drink while he watches the games :)

If you are following my stories, you know I started feeding Nadia solids few months ago. I was so happy that she wanted to try some of the food with us and believe me when I say SHE LOVED her broccoli mashed potatoes! They had simple ingredients that she was able to have and enjoy.

So, I had Elias write something about his experience and this is what he had to say :) --I'm going to make this a fun little ending to my reviews. Adding his final thoughts!

"As I get older in age the more I try and enjoy the experience at restaurants. The food needs to be good for that experience to be memorable. My wife and I went to Fork and Fire in the Plano Boardwalk and my experience was memorable. We were welcomed at the door and walked to our table. As we were walking to the table the host was already genuinely interested in our day and thanked us for coming in.

This was our first time at this restaurant and the owner (Jason) came by to offer up some

recommendations. Jason knowledge and passion for the industry caught me off guard as I did not know that still existed. My experience was memorable. It was not only memorable because the food was great, it was the whole restaurant journey that will keep me going back along with recommending tom friends and family."

Hope you get a chance to try this place out yourself, if you do.. LET ME KNOW! :)

Love,

Amira Omar
